If you are diabetic, you should contact your doctor first and let them know what you're doing. The ability of the seeds to slow the conversion of carbs into sugars could cause your blood sugar to become naturally lower or more balanced, leading to the use of less medication. If you're using them as a part of a diet, it's usually reccommended that you contact a doctor before engaging in any diet (no matter what it contains) just to be super-safe.
