Control Your Cravings

YOU searched the topic, YOU want to lose weight, YOU want to look good and feel good. Whatever have added to your kilos, is the temptation of the junk that you've gone out of control. What cause your present kilos is the great power of cravings, can't resist the temptations at all! Shed the kilos by controlling your cravings, right now!

Here're the golden rules:

1. You crave what you eat, so if you switch what you're eating, you can weaken your old cravings and strengthen new ones. This can happen pretty fast. Crave for fizzy soda? Try to switch to the diet variety, or bland dietary-supplement beverages for five days. It might gets harder on the first few days, but the longer you avoid your trigger food, you're less likely wanting them.

2. If you're succumbed to a craving and start to feel bad while eating, destroy it. Don't just throw it away; run water over it, ruin it. You'll feel a sense of accomplishment. This is for your good cause if the chips stay, you'll keep it in around your hips for long.

3. It is better off drink two glasses of water and another 30 grams of nuts - 6 walnuts, 12 almonds and 20 peanuts. In just 20 minutes, this can destroy your craving and get a cut in your appetite by altering you
r body chemistry.

4. Try sipping a skim latte instead of eating a candy bar. The caffeine might not slake your cravings, but it can keep your calories by quenching your appetite.

5. Stress is the main trigger for cravings and so knowing how to deal with it can save you some calories per day. Why not belt out a song or move your body a little bit while listening to funky music for relaxation?

6. Your fatigue will give rise to cravings. Instead of picking up the snacks, a power nap might help you sleep it off while re-energise.

7. Brush your teeth and gargle. You wouldn't want to mess up a fresh and clean mouth, would you?

8. Get a distraction. Thinking too much of food, it 's not hunger. Divert your mind: call somebody, play a chess game or run an errand!

9. Indulge yourself once in a while is a OK. Try low-cal choc bars, or 100-cal snack packs of cookies or peanuts. However, limit yourself to buy one pack at a time so you won't be tempted to reach for more. Since you get another extra cal, you might want to consider a brisk walk of 15 minutes to burn off that 100 cal or so.

10. Vary your usual routine to avoid walking by the supermarket or the confectioners. Fill in enough calories to fit it into your diet if you know you'll be face-to-face with the tempting birthday cake.
