Correct Diet and Exercise can Change Your Abs

Ever wonder why it is so hard to get defined abs? Well, it could be because exercise routines can become so tedious and boring that you do not work the abdomen thoroughly. Or maybe it is because the wrong exercises are being performed. I used to have a nice 6 pack back in high school but now I am not as active, and do not have the same fast metabolism as I used to. I have tried so many different things to get my defined abs back including, weight lifting, crunches, cardio, and diet. None of them has given me the results I desire. I started wondering what I was doing wrong and it occurred to me that maybe I was not doing the right exercises. Or maybe my diet was not what it needed to be. With so many different diets out there, low carb, low fat, low sugar, and low calories, it is hard to choose what is best for you.

I did some research and decided to adjust my diet and exercise program and become even more disciplined. Here is what my diet looks like for a typical day.

Meal Plan for a Day

6am- Breakfast Low sugar oatmeal-banana in oatmeal if desired, or an
other piece of fruit. 20-30 gram protein shake with 1 tablespoon flax seed and 5 grams of glutamine. 1 cup of milk- or just make the shake with milk. A packed sports multivitamin.

9am-snack 20-40gram protein shake and a piece of fruit.

12pm- lunch Loaded sandwich with turkey breast, all vegetables, cheese, and low fat dressing. Try not to eat any chips.

4pm- snack 20-40 gram protein shake

After workout- protein shake with glutamine Piece of fruit or high glycemic juice or milk. Creatine 5-10 grams or any other supplement you are cycling.

7pm- dinner A lean meat such as chicken, fish, or lean steak. Yam or sweet potato or potato. Whole grain rice or brown rice and many steamed veggies.

Bedtime- optional 20-40gram protein shake. This will digest slowly as you sleep and will help build muscle and repair from the days workout.

Even the first day that I started using this diet I felt different. I felt like I was healthy, light, and full of energy. I was not in bad shape before, just had a little stubborn belly fat that I could not get rid of. This program helped me get the defined abs that I wanted.
