Dark Knees?

Ah! It's the summer time! Everyone loves going out to spend endless time with friends and family. With the summer heat kicking in, you'd love to go swimming or maybe go walking in some shorts. You have the clothes set out and ready to wear. Only one problem.....YOU HAVE DARK KNEES!!

We've all heard of the saying "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade", but if life gives you lemons, you should probably use them on those dark knees! That's right! The high acidity level in lemons really break down the dirt on the skin, which can help you with the brighter knees you've dreamed of. Now lemons aren't magic and they won't intstantly brighten up your knees, but most of the time they do make a noticable difference.

For the lemons to work at their best, you should:
1) Soak in warm water for 10-15 minutes
2) Try and scrape off excess dirt
with your fingernails
3) With a freshly cut lemon, use its juices and skin by squeezing gently on the lemon while rubbing it on your knee (half a lemon should be good for one knee)
IMPORTANT: Make sure you do not have open cuts on your hands or knees or it will burn very badly when applying the lemons.

Lemons are not the only answer to brighter knees...

*You can also use exfoliating scrubs and a loofah to pick up that dirk and darkness!
*Using oils can help evenly tone your legs and knees. (I would recommend Bio Oil which not only helps tone skin but can also help with stretch marks and aging)
*Coco butter and coco butter lotion also assists in toning the color of your legs

Thank you for taking the time to read this article! I wish you the best of luck in your journey to brighter knees! Please feel free to leave any comments or suggestions. Thank you and have a nice day!
