NATURAL SUNSCREEN

The sun has many effects to human body, It is beneficial for human body in the morning from 7 am to 10 am changes the provitamin D into vitamin D that needed by the body. However, from negative side, the sunlight is major cause of a premature aging process .There are three forms of sunray, visible light, heat or infra red and ultraviolet light such as UVA and UVB. UVA which only causes tan as stimulate melanocyte to produce melanin in the skin layer, UVB which causes serious damage to the skin for example sunburn, skin cancer and premature aging.

Body's defense system against sunburn is different for each human body is different depending on the light or dark skin color and the moisture content of skin. Most of Caucasian produces low melanin that's why they more easily get sunburn, in other races melanin produce continuously, that protected from UV radiation. Besides melanin the moisture of skin is also plays an important role in skin protecting. Moisturizer could protect skin from sunray as a sunscreen.

Sunscreen protects your skin from UVA and UVB; it blocks and absorbs UV radiation. There are two types of sunscreen based on their ingredients, chemical sunscreen and natural sunscreen. Chemical sunscreen contains chemical ingredients such as parasol, titanium oxide and zinc oxide, Natural sunscreen contains raw material that has rich moisturizer would be able to block sunlight. Many sunscreens sold in the free market but does not have one when we can create your own, this article would give some natural sunscreen recipe for four types of skin, for normal, sensitive, dry and oily skin. These recipes made from mixed natural raw material combined with western and eastern recipes that make this not only have unique sense but we can als
o control the matrix material in compliance with the condition of our skin.


For Normal Skin

3-5 tbsp white cocoa butter
3 tbsp. Rose floral wax
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup of rose water
5-7 drops rose essential oil

Melt white cocoa butter and rose floral wax in heat, while olive oil and rose water is heating and stirring, then blend them all in a uniform texture, remove from the heat, add rose essential oil. Keep the mixture in hygiene and cool dry place or refrigerate it in low temperature.


For Sensitive Skin

3-5 tbsp of aloe Vera gel
3 tbsp jasmine floral wax
2 tbsp glycerin
2-4 tbsp almond oil
5-7 drops jasmine essential oil

Mix aloe Vera and jasmine floral wax in heat then remove from the heat, add glycerin and almond oil, stirring constantly until it forms a creamy emulsion, and add jasmine essential oil before store in refrigerator.


For Dry Skin

3-5 tbsp Avocado butter
3 tbsp white beeswax
3 tbsp lanolin
2-4 jojoba oil
1/4 cup of milk

Heat avocado butter and white beeswax until the beeswax melted then remove from the heat, Stir lanolin, jojoba oil and milk gently, mix both mixture until it forms a creamy mixture, put them in fridge before use it as a sunscreen

For Oily Skin

2-4 tbsp shea butter
3 tbsp floral wax
3-5 drops citrus essential oil
1/4 cup of rose water
1-3 drops peppermint oil

Mix together Shea butter, floral wax and peppermint oil in a heat and stir gently then remove from the heat, add rose water, wait about 5 minutes then add citrus essential oil.

Apply natural sunscreen about a half hour before going outdoors and reapply every 2-3 hours. Avoid eyes area for sensitive skin.
