I just wanted to take this time and talk to everyone about the cost to live.

Have you noticed that the cost of health care keeps going up and up.Since we've been back home in Kentucky I've noticed that every year it seems like the cost for health care benefits keep rising.The rason I say the cost to liveis that some people have certain medications that they have to take in order to keep them alive.I know some people their medication alone evry month is between two and three hundred dollars a month.

Can you imagine paying that much money a month just to be able to llive. I am an asthmatic and I depend on my inhalers.It's very scarey when your having an attack and your totally out of your medication. You end up having to go to the hospital and get breathing treatments plus a shot of epenephren just so you can breath, then you have the perscriptions you have to get filled..By the time it's over and done your paying atleast three hundred dollars maybe more.Even if you have insurance your still paying out the butt for that.

What I can't help thinking about is what happens to these families that cant afford insurance? What if they can't afford a hospital visit or doctors visit?What happens to them? Are they suppose to just suffer and maybe die?

At times I depend on my inhalers to help keep me alive but it cost us a small fortune.I know you can't put a price tag on life but when you don't have the money what are you to do?I know with insurance just one of my inhalers cost around forty-five dollars.Without insurnace they run around eighty-five dollars and up.I know at times we can't really afford it but I have to have it.

I don't understand how they can charge so much when that medicine helps keep you alive.
