Vegetable Oil: The New Plague




What they failed to mention was the entire truth behind popcorn. Most movie popcorn is not laden with coconut oil, but cotton seed oil or soybean oil. These two oils are usually artificially flavored, colored, and hydrogenated.

Dangers of Unsaturated Vegetable Oils

In the 1990`s, a lie was told to us masses. This lie was so big, and so profound, it had many people believing it as the gospel of health. It began in the 1940`s and 50`s during and directly after World War 2. See, scientists were experimenting with fat in relation to heart disease and cholesterol. They found that hard plaque on arterial walls was made up of saturated fat. So, they surmised, the simple solution was to replace all saturated fat in the diet with polyunsaturated vegetable oils. Thus, deodorized, hexane refined hydrogenated vegetable oils were born. These overcame the US markets and soon became the founding oil of fast food.

"But wait!" you say, "we know fast food is bad for us, it makes us fat and causes high cholesterol and other diseases." Ah, yes you are starting to get the picture. Nearly all fast food is laden with one form of vegetable oil or another. Purified and deodorized vegetable oils; such as corn, soy, cotton seed, and canola; are used in great quantities. They make food taste delicious, pastries soft and flaky, and give food an astounding shelf life.

Many don't see the danger until it's too late. They slurp down the tasty packaged and fast food, thinking that it contains healthy polyunsaturated oils. Therein lays the huge problem, the basis of the lie. We think we are eating healthy,
when in fact, we are eating the very thing which makes us sick. Statistics have shown that heart disease, heart attacks, diabetes, high cholesterol, and many other diseases suddenly shot up just after the introduction of vegetable oils into the modern diet. BEFORE this time period we ate large quantities of lard, real butter, whole cream, and whole milk.

Healthy Saturated Fat VS Unhealthy Unsaturated Fat

Many believe that polyunsaturated fat is good for our health. Due to the original lie. Believing the culprit to be saturated fat in the diet, doctors and researchers have told us for years how deadly it is. What many failed to see and point out was that the body manufactures its own saturated fat in direct proportion to the lack of it in the diet. Therefore, the more we eat unsaturated vegetable oils, the more the body has to produce its own saturated fat, since unsaturated vegetable oils are useless to the body.

Many believe that's a good thing, in fact, someone came up with the even more "brilliant" idea of using even faker fats called olestra. They hypothesized (remember that a hypothesis is just a guess) that if you removed real fat from the diet and replaced it with fake fat, the body would get healthy. They failed to recognize (or maybe point out) that the body desperately needs dietary saturated fat for EVERYTHING!

Saturated fat is used for fuel, coating cells walls, insulating nerve fibers, the delicate tissue of the brain holding its all important neurons in the correct position, essential hormones, and even fighting off bacterial and viral infection in the blood. A real eye-opener.Why do the governments allow selling vegetable oils? Even the public is irresponsible.
